Joe entered the chili cook off conpetition at Holy Cross today. He got lots of compliments on his white chicken chili, but didn't win. Pastor Jan was the winner this year and was very excited about that.
We haven't had too much snow this winter, but today we got pretty big snowstorm. The All City music festival had to be cancelled due to the snow and ice. The only thing that would have been better is if we could have gotten a snow day!
Joe and Hannah installed the new microwave tonight while I was at work. Hannah actually set up the camera on a timer and took this picture while they were holding the microwave in place. That's my girl!
I had just been thinking that Hannah hadn't gotten as much college mail as Emma and Becca when I walked past her while she was checking her email. She isn't getting as much mail because it's all coming to her on the computer! She said that she gets several emails a day from colleges. It's overwhelming to think about which colleges to consider. I'm glad it's not me doing it!
Hannah is really liking the new Kindle that she got from Grandma and Grandpa. It makes her reading assignments so much easier to do. Before she would have to sit at the computer to read her AP World and now she can relax in the recliner instead!
Happy Half Birthday, Becca! (or B-Train as her flatmates call her) I'm so happy that the kids in Nottingham with Becca are such a nice group. They made her a cake and helped celebrate her half birthday since they won't be together in July.
