Hannah, Paige and Lauryn tye dyed t-shirts at our house this afternoon. The girls swim team makes a shirt for the Metro meet each year. This year the shirts are a bright green. They tye dye them today and then add puff paint and glitter next weekend at an overnight. That won't be at our house!
Hannah and I timed for the Rich Hood Invite at Burke today. She didn't swim because she already has an individual state time. The Burke teams did well at the meet--the boys came in second and the girls won! Go Bulldogs!
I came home from work tonight and found Hannah and Joe dancing to "White and Nerdy" by Weird Al. Here they "wanna bowl with the gangstas." Hannah was doing the song pretty well and Joe was mostly just laughing. What a fun pair to come home to!
Ok, so Teddy keeps taking my slipper socks! He's gotten two of my favorites this week. Luckily I've still got the other one from each pair so I'm wearing an odd mismatched pair of socks now. I hope I can find the others around here somewhere.
Another fun surprise that we got in the mail last week was a new griddle from Suzi. I commented on how warped mine was when she visited so she got me a new one! I tried it out tonight and it makes excellent pancakes. Thanks, Suz!
Burke swam in a meet against Westside tonight. The pool is so dark that this is the only picture that you can make out who is in the frame! Hannah swam in three early events so that she could leave and head down to the TAC building for All City reheasal from 7-9. What a long day!
Our over the stove microwave has no microwaves! Luckily we have another one for above the stove to replace it. In the meantime, we also luckily have a table top microwave to use. It takes up most of the island, but I can warm up my coffee and that's what's important.
