Becca, Emma and I started walking this morning. I'm not sure how long we'll keep it up (we don't like to be hot) but anything is better than nothing! This morning we went 1.2 miles in 22 minutes.
I think they schedule UP Family Days on Father's Day so that we can't say no to Joe when he wants to go down to see the train (same train as last year)! This year Emma was home so she was able to join us! It wasn't as hot as last year and it is Father's Day...it was fun to spend the afternoon together. Next year I think Becca and Hannah need to join us!
Joe met Ronnie and the Ohio State boys this afternoon for a game at the College World Series. One of the boys is a Kent State alum, so they partied with that group before the game. Unfortunately the Kent State team lost the game, but they all had a great time anyway.
After a long night at B&S! I sometimes like to try new items, especially popular ones like this new "Lime-a-Rita" from Bud Light. It's not bad, especially with crushed ice, but I'm glad that I only bought one!
Becca is trying to get rid of a couple of warts on her feet and she needs to soak her feet in warm water before putting on the medicine. Of course, being Becca, it's quite a funny experience--it's so much fun having her home again!
I finally got some flowers planted this morning. The weather has been pretty cool so hopefully these plants won't stress too much and will grow quickly. I'm hoping for a little color in the front but with so much shade I'm limited on the plants that I can use. I'm trying lots of impatients this year.
Hannah is heading out for her first taste of golf (other than putt-putt) today. She and Chris are going to practice driving and putting before going to the golf course later this week.
