Hannah donated blood today at school! I had told her that it was no big deal to donate, she should be fine...well, first she had to go to the nurse to get an ok that she weighed enough to donate, then they had a hard time finding a vein to use. "Apparently I have no veins in my right arm and only one in my left" is how she put it! After donating, she didn't feel well and had to lie down on a mat with her feet up for awhile. By the time she felt better, lunch was over and she had missed it! She said that they gave her more snacks in the donation area. Tonight she said that her arm hurt. Good thing there was no swim practice today. I didn't ask if she'll give blood next time!
