Too much "relaxation" last night!!  Ok, so maybe this is a little bit dramatic, but I did have a bit of a headache this morning!  I decided to have a second glass of wine while I watched tv last night--I should know better.  Next time I'll switch to Diet Coke if I want a second drink.  I'm such a party animal!

It's Wednesday night and I don't have to go anywhere!  I decided to have a glass of wine while I made dinner and then just "relax" afterwards with a rerun of Top Gear.  What a great evening!

Poor Hannah, she had late swim pratice tonight, got home at almost 8:00 and has lots of homework to do.  I hope it isn't like this every night during swim season!

Hannah swam at the Mac meet this morning at Millard West.  She also swam on Friday night.  She had a pretty good meet, getting new best times in half of her events.  I was most excited when she went under a minute in her 100 freestyle!  High school swim season starts tomorrow.  The first meet is the Burke Invite on December 3rd.

Joe and I got up early and left at 5:00am to get to the Iowa-Michigan State game today.  Unlike last week, it was a pretty nice day.  The sun was shining and it wasn't too windy.  But unlike last week, the Hawks didn't win the game.  Rats!  Mom, Dad, Suzi, Gary, Cris, Joe and I still had fun going to the game and visiting for awhile afterwards.  Joe and I arrived back in Omaha at a little after 8:00pm.  What a long day!

Tonight we went to Hannah's cross country banquet at Champion's Club.  Hannah had a good season this year in cross country, running in both districts and state.  I couldn't get many pictures at the banquet--the lighting in the room is awful.  The girls did pose for a few pictures with friends at the end.  Hannah is with her friends, Miranda and Anna in this one.

Yea!  Becca hasn't been able to get cash from the ATM's in Nottingham using her green card.  Joe and Becca have both been talking to the bank this last week trying to get the situation worked out.  Today she was finally able to get cash!  One less thing for me to worry about.  (I try not to worry--WWMS, right Mom) but sometimes it's hard not to!

Ok, this picture was actually taken off of facebook, but I wanted mention Emma's work in the play at Grinnell.  She and her friends have been really busy helping with Rebecca's play.  I'm very thankful that she has made such good friends at college.

Hannah had some troubles at the Humane Society today when she was walking dogs.  One dog in particular was jumping on her and biting at her (just playing).  She ended up with a big tear in the back of her sweatshirt and three small holes in the sleeves as well as bruises on her arm.  Poor baby--she was just trying to be nice and look how she got treated today!

Joe and Hannah left this morning at 4:30am to get to the 11:00 Iowa-Michigan football game in Iowa City.  They had breakfast at the Hamburg Inn with Grandma, Grandpa, Suz and Gary before heading over to the game.  It was overcast and windy, but Iowa won!  Happy Birthday Joe!  Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

Joe and Hannah went to the Burke football game tonight--and just like the banner says, they did win!  Next week they will play in the semifinals.  Go Bulldogs!

I took off from Bag'n Save tonight to go to Hannah's parent teacher conferences.  As usual, she got great grades and her teachers think that she's a wonderful student.  Boy, she sure has them fooled!

It was the MOST Halloween party tonight at swim practice.  Hannah used my Cookie Monster hat and cookie and added a blue sweatshirt.  The kids wear their suits under their costumes so they can play fun relays and games instead of a regular swim practice.

Happy Halloween!!  Hannah and I handed out candy tonight until a little after 8:00.  Then we turned out the lights and settled down to watch Dancing with the Stars.
