Becca, Emma and I started walking this morning.  I'm not sure how long we'll keep it up (we don't like to be hot) but anything is better than nothing!  This morning we went 1.2 miles in 22 minutes.

I think they schedule UP Family Days on Father's Day so that we can't say no to Joe when he wants to go down to see the train (same train as last year)!  This year Emma was home so she was able to join us!  It wasn't as hot as last year and it is Father's Day...it was fun to spend the afternoon together.  Next year I think Becca and Hannah need to join us!

Joe met Ronnie and the Ohio State boys this afternoon for a game at the College World Series.  One of the boys is a Kent State alum, so they partied with that group before the game.  Unfortunately the Kent State team lost the game, but they all had a great time anyway.

After a long night at B&S!  I sometimes like to try new items, especially popular ones like this new "Lime-a-Rita" from Bud Light.  It's not bad, especially with crushed ice, but I'm glad that I only bought one!

Becca is trying to get rid of a couple of warts on her feet and she needs to soak her feet in warm water before putting on the medicine.  Of course, being Becca, it's quite a funny experience--it's so much fun having her home again!

I finally got some flowers planted this morning.  The weather has been pretty cool so hopefully these plants won't stress too much and will grow quickly.  I'm hoping for a little color in the front but with so much shade I'm limited on the plants that I can use.  I'm trying lots of impatients this year.

Hannah is heading out for her first taste of golf (other than putt-putt) today.  She and Chris are going to practice driving and putting before going to the golf course later this week.

Becca was hot and tired this afternoon.  She laid down on the carpet in the living room and both dogs thought that they needed to join her.

Becca is making the most of her college education so far--I forgot how many grapes she was able to stuff into her mouth here, but I'm soooo proud!  :)

Hannah worked at the Mutual of Omaha Swim-vitational meet today.  It's practice for the volunteers for the Olympic Swim Trials later this month.  Hannah is one of the leaders for the basket carriers.

Hannah and Chris finally made it to the zoo this afternoon.  They got to see this tiger being trained while they where there.  Pretty cool!

Today I went through more boxes in the basement.  These are four bags of papers to recycle already.  I also have three bags of garbage.  I need to take a break now--it's overwhelming, but hopefully I can keep plugging along.

I found this rawhide chew "hidden" in the clean laundry next to the washer this morning.  I'm guessing that Jessie put it there.  Later in the day she pulled the shorts over the rawhide to hide it a little better.  I'm just glad that the chew wasn't too dirty since those clothes were clean!

Don't let Becca's face fool you--she got the first waffle!  She's just ready and waiting for seconds.  Emma and Hannah did a great job of making their waffles look delicious while she's waiting though!

Joe, Emma, Becca and I went downtown today for the Taste of Omaha festival.  We wandered around the tents, tried some food from a few local places, looked at the sand scultures and listened to the bands.  It was fun but kind of hot so after a couple of hours we headed back home to cool off in the pool and relax.

I'm going to Walmart all by myself today.  Hannah is busy all day and Emma and Becca don't want to go with me.  I'm afraid that I'll have to get used to this. :(

Jessie is very happy that Becca is home again!  Becca will usually play and she never tries to brush her-now she just has to figure out how to get Becca to give her more treats. :)
