This morning I had a perfect cup of coffee! February hasn't been a great month for us, so I told myself that no matter what else happened today that at least I'd had a great cup of coffee. Tonight I got a call from Mom telling me that Jerry had passed away this afternoon. Later I thought about that picture that I'd taken this morning and decided that it was the right picture for the day. One of the things that I remember the most about Jerry is him drinking coffee. Of course, he would have laughed at mine with the whipped cream, but Jerry's sense of humor is another thing that I'll remember. So here's to you, Uncle Jerry. I'll think of you whenever I have a perfect cup of coffee.
